Frankly Franklin: Upper Elementary Musical

On the evening of November 20, the Midway Upper Elementary Vocal Music students put on the production of Frankly Franklin, a musical for young children based on the life of Benjamin Franklin.  The play took the place of the 4th, 5th, and 6th grade winter concert.  The show was directed by Mr. Brad Meredith and the accompanist was Ms. Dana Inloes.  The cast was as follows: Narrator: Faith Lueker, Benjamin Franklin: Will Dahman, Ben’s Sister: Ty Eckhoff, James (Ben’s Brother): Payton Adams, Deborah (Ben’s Wife): Hailey Crowder, Tavern Boy: Nathan Thomas, George III King of England: Owen Cavin, Thomas Jefferson: Harrison Kalinka, Ship’s Passenger: Andy Thomas, The Gout: Chloe Leonard, Poor Richard voices: Samara Lewis, Sheldon Hineman, We Like Him voices: Logan Barrett, Abbey Dahman. The chorus was made up of members of the 4th, 5th, and 6th grade classes.  The students have been working on the show since September.
