At Midway, we have fundraisers such as student v. teacher basketball games. We even produce songs for Spotify, iTunes, and YouTube and they get their own music video! From the money we earn, we fill up a school toy store called midway market. Every month, students get to spend points they earn daily for meeting expectations. This aligns with one of the major pillars of PBIS, positively reinforcing expectations. We have many ways of celebrating student success. We have a prize wheel that is spun weekly by a student in each grade. Students get a chance to spin the wheel by showing a character trait that is focused on monthly.
