Missouri Sheriffs' Association Scholarship (John Dennis Scholarship)--due Jan. 31

--Must attend a Missouri college or university

--Criminal Justice majors

--Demonstrate financial need

--$1000 (up to 35 awarded)

--Must be a relative (child or grandchild) of an FCS Financial customer

--Must rank in the upper 20% of the graduating class, attain a 2.5 GPA or higher, score a 26 or higher on the ACT

PB&J Scholarship -- due May 31

--Open to all college bound seniors at Midway High School

--Attending an accredited 2 year or 4 year college

-Alma Brown Scholarship - Applications are available in February, and the deadline to submit applications is in mid-March. Selection is primarily determined by financial need and career goals. Award is $1,000.

-Wanda Brown Scholarship - Applications are available in February, and the deadline to submit applications is in mid-March. Selection is based upon academic achievement, financial need and recommendations. Award is $1,000.

-Elvin S. Douglas Jr Scholarship - Applications are available in February, and the deadline to submit applications is in mid-March. Selection is based upon academic merit and financial need. Award is usually $500.

-Geraldine Kidd Scholarship - Applications are available in mid-November, and the deadline to submit applications is in December. Selection is based on the best qualified applicant as ascertained from the application information. Award is usually $500.

-Dr. Harold E. Kirsch Memorial Scholarship - Scholarship is awarded for Cass County high school graduates, to support persons pursuing education in the field of health care. Deadline varies. Award amount varies based upon the earnings of the fund, but generally range from $750 to $1,000.

-Dr. Gail G. Kroenke Memorial Scholarship - Applications are available in February, and the deadline to submit applications is in mid-March. Selection is based on the best-qualified applicant as ascertained from the application information. Award amount is usually $500.

-Jan Perry Scholarship - Two scholarships—one in the spring and one in the fall—are offered annually. The deadline for applications is in March (spring cycle) and September (fall cycle). Selection is based upon financial need and career goals. The award amount for each is $2,000.
