Science 7-12 Instructor
We seek instructors committed to continuously improving instruction through collaboration. The instructor is a hardworking, goal-oriented and enthusiastic professional with excellent subject knowledge and a sound understanding of the Missouri Learning Standards. Our goal is for Instructors to find joy in teaching & learning, and approach instruction with grit, creativity, and innovation.
Position Responsibilities:
Establish weekly objectives that align to the Missouri Learning standards.
Facilitate “hands-on” activities and projects that allow students to learn by doing and exploring.
Maintain a clean and organized classroom.
Implement instructional activities that contribute to a climate where students are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences.
Identify, selects, and modifies instructional resources to meet the needs of the students with varying backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs.
Assist in assessing changing curricular needs and offers plans for improvement.
Provide a positive environment in which students are encouraged to be actively engaged in the learning process.
Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with students, parents, and other professionals on a regular basis.
Collaborate with peers to enhance the instructional environment.
Model professional and ethical standards when dealing with students, parents, peers, and community.
Assume responsibility for meeting his/her course and school-wide student performance goals.
Demonstrate gains in student performance.
Participate in meetings, training, and professional development
Meet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating, etc.
Act in a professional and ethical manner at all times and comply with school policies, procedures, and expectations.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by their supervisor.

Must pass extensive background check.High School Assistant Football CoachMidway School District is seeking a highly qualified high school assistant football coach to assist with an 11-man program with a history of great success. Qualifications include high moral character, a strong work ethic, and a depth of football knowledge. High school coaching experience is preferred but not required. Preferred candidates will fill one of the teaching positions available at Midway R-1. Schedule: This is a full-time managerial position with set working hours. Some work outside of normal hours will periodically occur.Job Summary: The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of facility maintenance, custodial services, and transportation operations within the school district. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and well-maintained physical and vehicular infrastructure necessary for the educational environment.

Schedule: This is a full-time position with set afternoon and evening working hours on school days. On work days when school is not in session, day shift will be an option sometimes..Job Summary: Cleans and services campus building areas. Performs a variety of custodial duties to maintain the campus in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition. Requires the use of mops, buckets, wringers, carts, vacuums, buffers, ladders, dusters, rags, cleaning chemicals, and other items necessary to accomplish the cleaning assignments.
