Elementary Office - Secretary
Midway R-I is seeking an elementary secretary for the 2023-2024 school year. This person will be able to demonstrate positive interpersonal skills with staff, students, and parents, as well as relate well to a wide variety of individuals. This person will need to appropriately handle confidential and sometimes extremely sensitive information. He/she must be able to serve the public in a diplomatic, friendly, and efficient manner.
A successful candidate will be organized and detailed-oriented, with the ability to multitask and meet continuous deadlines. He/she should demonstrate computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite. Ability to distribute related reports and initiate and maintain contacts as needed or directed for internal and external recipients. This person will communicate internally and externally with service providers, such as the transportation department, maintenance & custodial staff, and food service employees. Candidate will be responsible for coordinating substitutes. Knowledge of Infinite Campus school information system software is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Two to three years of job-related experience is preferred.
